1st day of class

Well this has been an interesting and busy week. I spend more time studying at home than I do in class. The classes are interesting. I take Sociology, Psychology and 2 computer technology courses. Lots of reading and writing. It is hard to make time for studying outside of school but I do manage. I Will keep everyone who's interested updated with my progress. I would like to say thank you to all the folks who have given me words of encouragement since embarking on this endeavor. Especially to my fiance' Christina who has let me know how proud she is of me and for how supportive and understanding she has been. There is no doubt that I could not do this without her. She is my rock and with her in my corner I can do anything.

My first blog post

Well, My instructor said to create a blog and post something about myself. My name is Michael, I'm 43 years old, and I have gone back to college to get my degree. I decided that I don't want to drive a tow truck for the rest of my life. I have jumped in with both feet and I am working hard to earn a 4.0 GPA. I enjoy school a lot more now than I did 25 years ago when I was in high school.
